Crystal Pedro

Crystal Pedro is the winner of the ‘Respect for Life’ design logo competition. The following is Crystal’s explanation of her winning logo: “The seed denotes the idea of conception. The tree without leaves illustrates old age and natural death. The praying hands represent a sign of respect and protection of life from conception to natural death and a symbol of obedience, submission, sincerity and repentance.
The Christian Cross is a representation of Christianity being the burial, the resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven. Both the hand and Cross can also symbolize the Church.  The green colour is the sign of life and growth. Represents Ordinary Time.  The red wording represents the sacrificial blood of Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.”
