On behalf of Cardinal Peter K. A. Turkson I would like to thank you warmly for your participation in the International Conference “Women and the post-2015 Development Agenda: The Challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” which took place in Rome from the 22nd to the 24th of May.
On the occasion of the General Audience in Saint Peter’s Square, on the 10th of June, together with the President of WUCWO, Maria Giovanna Ruggieri, and of WWALF, Olimpia Tarzia, we had the honor of handing over to the Holy Father the fruit of the works during the Conference namely the document titled “Reflections of Catholic Women on the Sustainable Development Goals in the framework of the post-2015 Development Agenda”. This document was read in the concluding plenary session and has been reorganised with the aim of following, where possible, the numeric order of the Goals.
