CCSJ appoints two Parish Link coordinators

The Catholic Commission for Social Justice (CCSJ) welcomes Anna Ackbarali and Richard Smith who have recently been appointed CCSJ’s Parish Link Coordinators in the Archdiocese.

They will play a major role in supporting CCSJ in its implementation of Synod Resolutions, for example, by promoting the Social Teaching of the Church at parish level and empowering the faithful to be witnesses and agents of justice, peace, truth, love and freedom.  CCSJ would like to thank Robert Persad, former Parish Link Coordinator, for his invaluable contribution to its work over the past year. We wish Robert well as he pursues his musical career. Anna and Richard are currently updating their database of contacts for all Parishes. Anna has responsibility for the following Vicariates: Northern, Suburban, and Eastern. Richard is responsible for Central and Southern Vicariates and together they will offer support to Tobago.
