All Archdiocesan departments, Catholic schools and Catholic organisations are encouraged to plan activities to observe Respect For Life Week (RFLW).

 – A night of praise, prayer, reflection, and intercession to celebrate the gift of life in all of its forms, and to pray for greater respect for thi s gift.  Organised by CCSJ and CTC Community’s Reach Young Adults Ministry.  The Vigil will end with the celebration of the Eucharist at 5.30 a.m. on Saturday morning.  Light refreshments will be served throughout the night

UN International World Day against the Death Penalty: Stop Crime, not Lives – focus on the Caribbean.  The faithful are encouraged to pray the Rosary for peace in Trinidad and Tobago and the world for an end to crime and violence, for the victims of crime, for the adoption of anti-crime strategies that are more in keeping with the sanctity of life and the dignity of the human person, and for the abolition of the Death Penalty
