He saw two boats there alongside the lake; the fishermen had disembarked and were washing their nets. The second reading this Sunday (1 Cor 12:31 – 13:13) is most appropriate as we focus on Haiti. We need to “strive eagerly for the greatest spiritual gifts” so that we can build a spirituality of justice in our communities, in our country and in the world.
